Barbara Krasner holds an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and a PhD in Holocaust & Genocide Studies from Gratz College. The author of nine poetry books, including ekphrastic collections, Poems of the Winter Palace (Bottlecap Press, 2025), The Night Watch (Kelsay Books, 2025), and the forthcoming The Wanderers (Shanti Arts, 2026) and Insomnia: Poems after Lee Krasner (Dancing Girl Press, 2026).  Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in more than seventy literary journals, earning multiple Best of the Net, Best Microfiction, and Pushcart Prize nominations.
