In this generative session, we will focus on art and ekphrasis on some of the deeper and darker themes of the human experience, such as grief, loss, fear, illness, or evil. It's an opportunity to look at artists exploring important themes, and a chance to write honestly from the soul on topics that require the same reflection and consideration as happy ones. We will look at a variety of artworks and write from several during class.
