Walking Through Snow Between the cool-cold blue-gray sky and icy river both filling with snow, a man and his dog are sandwiched between the twin currents of unabated nature and the ethereal. Along the silent worn path, they walk the quiet snow in solitude. In this uncertain hour, what flurry of thoughts might be stilled beneath the full moon of his umbrella. Near the horizon, the glow from a row house’s windows, warm with light perhaps beckoning them home. Tom Lagasse Tom’s poetry has recently appeared in numerous publications and anthologies. Wonderful poem, Tom. I especially like the quiet feel that you create as well as the slow pacing. Exactly what it is like to be walking in the snow. Some wonderful images and a good match for the artwork.
