In A Brief History of Photography, we will take a whirlwind tour through the story of photography, from its birth to present day. We will look at important artists and their work, and discuss the impact of photography on visual art in general.
We will also discuss ways that writers can use photography and its history to inspire their work. Due to the volume of information in this workshop, this will not be a generative writing event, but we encourage you to take notes as you are inspired to use in your work afterwards. There will be a follow up photography workshop focused on using the images to inspire your creative writing.
