rain-drenched thoughts viewed in parallel lenses they are like children who layer tincture upon pigment on bleached canvas until left with charcoal shadows of what their daydreams are trying to tell them they are the streetlights that pick up the variant hues, making them brighter than they are masquerading them into delusions of greatness who will be that one person in the street who will achieve some measure of immortality while others on the sidewalk imagine it? by Rhonda Melanson Rhonda Melanson is a poet living in Sarnia, Ontario and has been published in some online and print journals.
