staid
corners
stilled lives
depth, lost in gray-
blood's beat lulled, jaded
smudged edges surface chilled
soundless sitters, shelved displays
laboured ponderings disembark
a study interned in thought unmoved
aged, lost lust, smoked, dry, tasting of endings
