Shivering in the Church Yard
His tombstone cast a long shadow, stretching from his death toward hers. She began skipping church, afraid to watch his reach growing shorter. Another beautiful poem from Alarie. I love how she visually stretched the words to extend the length of the shadow then condensing them as his reach grew shorter.
