Two Gibbons Reaching for the Moon ‘The Gibbons may be confused, but if they stop searching for the truth, all will be lost.’ Do you see it, little gibbon, the great gnosis gnarling? I see it too, I’m seeing, a few spare truths drowning. Did you find it, little gibbon, the truest truth tinkling? I found it too, in the river, I’m very good at thinking. Do you know it, little gibbon, the wonder worldly wording? I know it too, the word, it’s academically absorbing (for intellectually pursuing clever little gibbons like me). I’m a clever little gibbon, gibbon, cleverer than you. I know what is true, I know where to find the moon. Now if you’ll hold my hand, you’ll too know soon: The moon lives here in this deep lagoon. Do you feel it, little gibbon, the sweet search surging? I feel it too, we found the moon; now come, let’s find the next thing.
