Whispers of Spring
So delicately wrapped is the blush pink silk,
Gracefully flowing to the ends of her ankles.
Enchanted golden jewels adorn her radiant face,
Shining like the brilliant sun itself.
Carefully threaded jasmine flowers
Sit still on her ink-black hair.
She rests beneath the flowering tree
On the edge of the tranquil blue pond.
Her blissful smile of lighthearted joy
Whispers stories to the blossoming rose.
The chime of her golden anklets
Stills the rippling waves.
At the sound of her melodic song,
The lilies raise their sleepy heads
And welcome the queen of spring.
