Whispers of Spring So delicately wrapped is the blush pink silk, Gracefully flowing to the ends of her ankles. Enchanted golden jewels adorn her radiant face, Shining like the brilliant sun itself. Carefully threaded jasmine flowers Sit still on her ink-black hair. She rests beneath the flowering tree On the edge of the tranquil blue pond. Her blissful smile of lighthearted joy Whispers stories to the blossoming rose. The chime of her golden anklets Stills the rippling waves. At the sound of her melodic song, The lilies raise their sleepy heads And welcome the queen of spring. Saghana Parasuraman Saghana Parasuraman is a high schooler living in Michigan.
